Glukosa atau dekstrosa adalah monomer rantai Pati ( polimer) . Glukosa adalah gula alami ada dalam tubuh manusia. Dalam bentuk kristal, gula alami ini telah digunakan sebagai pemanis dan texturizing agen, atau sebagai substrat fermentasi untuk waktu yang lama. Aplikasi untuk dekstrosa beragam seperti sereal Produk ( roti, biskuit, Bar-Bar, dll) , permen, minuman, daging, dll.
